The saplings were planted asap and are thriving and budding. We were worried about the rocky sandy soil on our ridge in potter county Pennsylvania. No worries. The tree tubes are fill with leaves and tree growth. The weather has been cooperating and we only had to water twice.

Oaks started well but I lost one because of the dry conditions. The other has leaves as big as my hand!

I tried to add photos, but they would not attach. I purchased 3 burr oaks and planted them the day after they arrived. All three leafed out quickly! Two are still looking very good. One had the top leaves "burn" and die, but the bottom branch still looks good. I am happy overall with my trees.
