The Princess Seam Pattern

Amazing!

Love these patterns, they work so well with the negative ease for perfect fit. I am addicted and bought various patterns and blocks. Takes all the need away from having to work anything out. Also, it gives you a good foundation too, as I could alter this one to take the princess seams straight down to add godets for a ballroom dress. Would love it if you could make a godet pattern which we could add to the bottom of other patterns from the waist.

Pattern needs a crotch

This pattern has really nice princess seams but it was missing the crotch which should be at the bottom of the front piece. The back piece was way too long and the arm holes too short. I had to modify it extensively adding an 11 cm long crotch to the front, shortening the back and making the armholes longer. After the modifications the finished product was a useful ballet class leotard.
