Overall, I really like the boots. The leather, construction, and design are excellent, and if both boots fit like the right boot, I would be completely satisfied with the purchase. Unfortunately, the left boot is noticeably smaller and tighter than the right boot. The difference is significant enough that the right boot is comfortable to wear, while the left boot causes pain. As a result, the boots I received were not wearable for me as delivered. After extensive break-in attempts, I took the boots to a local cobbler who confirmed the difference between left and right and stretched the toe cap. The stretch helped but could not bring the left boot in line with the right. At this point the boots remain unwearable for me, and because the asymmetry is measurable and visible, I also can’t in good conscience resell them. I understand that handmade footwear will always have some variation. My concern is not minor variation, but that the difference between my two boots was large enough to affect comfort and usability and undermined the E width I ordered. As a customer, that was frustrating because I purchased a pair of boots that I wanted to wear regularly, but instead had to spend additional time and money attempting to correct the fit. I hope this feedback is helpful because I genuinely like the product and would gladly purchase from Luosjiet again if I could be confident both boots would fit consistently.

Quality materials and craftsmanship is outstanding. The boot construction is solid, but very, very stiff. Will require a significant amount of time for breaking it in. Boot opening is digging into the ankle. Better tie laces up right before the speed hooks, and instead, wrap laces around the ankle before tying the knot; it will ease the stiffness until everything gets a bit looser. Great purchase at that price point. Definitely a better price-value ratio than Allen Edmonds, and probably the same as Grant Stone. Ordered some Alden Indy three times more expensive than those; looking forward to compare.
