Bought one for my wife with the recover tub. This sauna is not for for outdoor use in anything other than clear, dry, windless days. It needs to be dried out and packed away after use. Otherwise it's wet and gets mouldy. The chair is fabric so needs regular cleaning. I recommend using a towel or buying a different chair. The mat also needs to be cleaned after use as it soaks up your sweat. It does work, bit it's a bit faffy. The tub has plastic screw in taps that need extra PTFE otherwise they leak. Expensive and not great.

I was skeptical

To start with I was skeptical and purchasing this unit, but it has been a game changer. First of all, I don’t like going to the gym. I prefer steam over dry heat. I ordered the unit from the US but when I receive the unit, the steam unit is set up for 220 which is not available here in the US. I contacted Polar to make a long story short. They made it right and reimburse me the cost of a converter unit. The sauna provides excellent steam, and heat and recovery for muscles has been amazing. I’ve used it during the winter months, which can be quite cold here in Michigan. I use essential oils like eucalyptus and frankincense and it’s helped with taking care of a few minor cold symptoms, stuffy head and congestion issues. I would definitely recommend this company as the unit outputs plenty of steam for the size.

Disappointed in quality

Supplied with cheap Chinese 1000w steam generator identical to ones you can buy off eBay for about £40 takes a long time to start steaming and doesn't reach more than about 42C on max manual lists 3 different steamer powers but no option to pick a more powerful one. Overpriced for the quality
