Just picked up rod today from post office. We were out of town when it first arrived. Put together and to be honest was pretty disappointed in the quality/appearance. There was 1/2” of exposed rod blank between the ferrules where the two rod sections pushed together and that this was considered acceptable. Looks pretty tacky/cheap. Seams like it could have been manufactured to minimize this gap.

Ordered the 7' medium action 2 piece with cork. Fished from the beach for a week. Rod performed flawless. Caught multiple species of fish. Sensitivity was awesome. Largest was a 26.6" red fish. No problem. Love the duel locking reel seat.

Great rod and reel!

This is a great rod and reel from KastKing. I have a few that I paid double the amount for and don't like as much as this. Highly recommend!!!!
