SwitchBot mmWave Presence Sensor

Presence Sensor build quality and features are great, integration with Homey Pro might be lacking

The Presence Sensor's build quality and features are great, I'm really digging the magnetic stand, however, integration with Homey Pro has been somewhat lackluster. I was hoping to replace my Aqara P1, since Switchbot’s Presence Sensor uses mmWave for more accurate detection. However, after integrating with Homey Pro, I can see the Sensor reacts almost immediately to presence, but, for some reason reporting to Homey Pro for triggering workflows has a >10sec delay. I tried connecting over both the Hub and BLE approaches, neither seemed to improve the response times. I really like Switchbot products and want this sensor to succeed. Hoping Switchbot engineers/devs can help rectify the issue. Thanks.

Much more reliable sensing

After a poor experience with the Switchbot sensor this prence sensor os much more reliable. WE use the sensor to trn the light on in our laundry room and when we first obtained the sensor, it worked sometimes. It became more unreliable and eventually, we took the plunge and bought the Presence Detector. This device has proved to be much more reliable and is operating just as we want it to, turning the ligt on when someone laden with clothes enters the room!

The easiest presence sensor to setup!

The matter hub makes this dead simple to setup for HomeKit! I’m putting several throughout my home. I’ve installed 2 presence sensors previously and this is by far the easiest, plus no wires makes installing a breeze. I’m replacing my old units and adding more.
