It’s perfect and beautiful. I didn’t know what to expect other than which the photos. The board is way bigger than I thought, in a good way. I scrolled through looking for chess sets that stood out to me and this was the second one to do that. While the other was more affordable the sale (160$ off) this board has right now made it a no brainer. Now’s the time to pick it up if you’re thinking about it. Get the leather chess piece storage box, it fits all the pieces just right. I’m glad that’s the one I chose, Such a nice set, hard to put too words Get it! Just get it!

My hisband loves it. The quality is immaculate!!!! The pieces slide effortlessly with the felt bottoms. You can tell each piece is handcarved and not mass produced by a machine. Very solid. My only regret is not buying the matching box to put the board and the pieces in.
