Good Set for the Bucks

This set is one of the better inexpensive wood sets that I have seen in the past years. I like the finish on these pieces. They have a patina which gives them an attractive "lived with " look. They are single weighted, I believe, which makes them suitable for speed chess. I am very happy with this purchase!

would have liked a little more weight in each piece. The checker pieces don't stack together very well for kingers

Very fast service but 2 problems

Top of Blk Queen has no stain on it. Wh King has piece broken off at base of cross. Any thing to be done about this??
