3 1/2" Colored Silicone Club Chess Pieces - Half Set of 17 Pieces

We are in the habit of leaving a chess board set up on the dining room table. Being the owners of three cats with varied natures, that board often is disturbed. With the silicone pieces we are no longer expecting damaged pieces from the inevitable crash to the floor. Our observations of the pieces themselves can be summed up in a few points. Nicely molded and decent colors. We wish there were more choices in the palette, a burgundy or a brick red would be nice. A bit more weight wouldn’t be a bad idea as well, but overall these work quite nicely.

Young Grandsons Love the Colors

My youngest grandsons (6 and 7) love the size and colors of this set (I got a hot pink side, and a neon green side). The silicone is soft enough that they won't get hurt if they fall on the pieces and the pieces won't break if dropped, the size is large enough for them to work with, and it's a blast to teach them the game with such a colorful set. I recommend it for children of most any age (my 3-year old granddaughter is also learning the game -- those bright colors really help!).

I have four sets of these pieces now and I'm a huge fan! The pieces are high quality and at a very reasonable price! I would definitely buy them again!
