Not sure how it's so dark, but it lives up to the description. What's cool is if you hold it up to a really bright UV light (the Sun) it has a faint deep blood red tint. Will absolutely buy this in the future for all black filament needs.

I’ve been using Atomic Filament’s PLA filaments for about 2 years now and I love them. You get a great quality product and great customer service! I love how they send little gummy bear packets with their filaments lol
