The assembly of the inserted cushions isnt easy and i imagine impossible for someone with declining hand strength. It would be nice if it was fully assembled at shipping. Othewise it is a very nice bed. I have two tiny 5 lbs chihuahua and I bought the medium bed. They fit while sitting but are a bit crowded if they want to lay down - so get the large if you have two dogs.
