Great little knife, has become my daily pocket driver, EDC OCT. great feeling in the hand, sharp little guy. I like the lock mechanism, makes it very easy to use one handed.

I own the Lander 5 and it is a good knife. The slim profile allows it to fit nicely in the 5th pocket of my pants. However, the blade is difficult to deploy one-handed. After seeing the OCT was back in stock, I was willing to trade the slight increase in thickness of the OCT over the L5 if the deployment was easier. Wow, is it easier. The OCT is far easier to put into use than the L5 BUT the pocket clip shape and material needs improvement. From what I can tell the L5 and OCT have the same clip, but the one on my OCT was stiffer and bent out of shape when I clipped it onto my pocket for the first time. When I removed it from my pocket to check it, it would not bend back into its original shape or tension. I was able to bend it back into a usable shape with acceptable tension after removing it from the knife. THIS IS A VERY GOOD KNIFE...just be careful with the clip.

This knife is a quality item and an excellent value for the money. It has some versatility that other manufacturers don't offer and comes with some spare parts. It would be awesome to get one with an orange handle and the black blade. I might get the blue one in the future.
