Can't wear it

The jewelry is pretty. BUT whomever twisted the ball on the top of the post went overboard. I cannot get it to un-screw so I can put the jewelry in my ear. I even had someone with stronger hands try and get the ball off and it will not budge. Waste of my money since I can't even wear what I purchased.
