I use these to attach small rectangles of flat rock via the self sticking tape strip

These blanks are perfect if your trying to attach a different stone and use it on your fixed angle set up.I used it to attach the work sharp resin bonded dimond stones and use them on my hapstone for a fraction of the price of most resin bonded stones..ened up costing me 30bux a stone .the adhesive on the blanks is perfect and hold strong... Good quality blanks and the adhesive strips secured the stones in place fine. I purchased both 1/2” and 1” wide blanks. The former for small knives and extreme blade curves and the latter for less extreme geometries. It is important to follow directions by pressing the stone firmly against the adhesive for thirty seconds then allow the adhesive to cure for 24 hours before using. I placed a heavy book on top of the stones overnight to insure good uniform adhesion. I bought a set of inexpensive SIC stones for rough work resetting bevels, taking out chips etc. So far so good.
