Ballistic Nylon Military 1 Piece Watch Strap - (Matte Buckle)

The best strap ever...?

This is an amazing strap. I have not previously used military style straps, and this was my introduction to a 1 piece mil strap. I suspect the magic of this strap is the quality of the ballistic nylon fabric. Many people like the "seat belt fabric" cloth military straps, of which Omega and Artem seem to offer the top examples. That cloth won't hold a watch as firmly in place, so one must wear it a bit tighter to stabilize the watch. This ballistic nylon is NOT scratchy, at least not to me. The firmness enables it to hold a watch steady without being tightened. The net result is the watch sort of floats on one's wrist. If your watch isn't terribly heavy, the net result is an astonishing degree of comfort. If your watch is titanium, you'll forget you have it on. If I was only allowed one type of strap for all my watches, it would be this one. And I have a strong preference for leather straps with pin buckles. I would also point out that the buckle and keepers are far more compatible in appearance with most field, pilot's, diver, and other tool watches than the shiny stuff on the Omega and Artem military straps. The price is definitely justifiable, and a lot less than many more expensive straps that offer a lot less. It's such a simple strap it can be difficult to understand why you won't want to take it off.
