Vitraclay School and Studio All Purpose Clay with Grog

My go-to clay!

This is my go-to clay for handbuilding. It's pliable, strong with the grog and fires beautifully. I use it pedominantly as EW but it will fire to SW which makes it so versatile! Bisques to a peachy colour, slightly lighter after glazing, and gives a good result with EW glazes at 1040°. Love it!

Good all-rounder

I use this clay for throwing and hand-building and I get consistently good results. It fires to a lovely buff colour which deepens when in contact with glaze. Glaze colours can sometimes be altered by the buff clay and are not as bright as they might be on a white clay body, but I've not been disappointed with results. I'd recommend this clay as a good value all-round clay.
