Sibelco Spotted Throwing Clay

Excellent plasticity a plasure to work with

This speckled clay is incredibly workable , beautifully soft yet consistent and responsive. It’s a real pleasure to throw and shape, holding form well while remaining smooth and forgiving. The fired surface develops rich, earthy speckles that look stunning both unglazed and when finished with a glaze. It performs beautifully in either case. So far, this is my favourite clay to work with.

I love this clay. Much smoother than I thought it would be. And the final results after firing is great.

Favourite clay I've used!

Only been a ceramics addict for a short time but this is by far the nicest clay I've thrown with. Soft, smooth, maleable and creates a lovely finish.
