Cost Effective Repair

I made a point of studying the instruction videos before attempting the fitting of the new drive. It took me all of 10 minutes to replace the faulty drive. After reconnecting the box it worked straight away. I'm very pleased that it saved me having to spend £200+ on a new box. Highly recommended.

All good at the end

After a week I had not got the drive but an email and I got the drive 2 days later, good price good value would use again

Simple task with good results

My Freesat (Arris) box was getting on in years and was starting to become clunky with the odd portion of a recording freezing or distorting. I researched the replacement with an SSD drive and as it seemed relatively easy I ordered a replacement 256gb. Sure enough it was delivered promptly and was simple to remove the cover and swop the drives. Once reconnected the box started straight away and is a great improvement on the previous hard drive in that the process of recording programs is the same but everything happens that much quicker, in particular deleting programs after viewing. For some months now Freesat has had the annoying message for several seconds informing me that the TV Box is starting. It always started pretty much straight away so I am assuming that Freesat have updated their software. This is not the fault of the SSD drive.
