MakaGIC VS01 Smart vise- Combo

Perfect for building circuit boards

Quick and works well. Makes dealing with SMT circuit repair and prototyping much easier. The battery once fully charged seems to last forever. I’ve been using mine for weeks on one charge. I don’t care for the fresnel lens attachment. The focus is not good but the LED white light is very useful. I wish they would use a glass lens, that would be much better.

It's not a toy ,but a fantastic item, very happy with the whole journey, from ordering to delivery, will put it to good use in my workshop fixing mobile phones Kind regards Dave

First test

I am happy that the MakaGiC is heavy so it dont move so easy. The fan was OK. The Magnifying mod the lamp is DOA Dead On Arrival so had no chance to test. When soldering, it would have been nice to have both the fan and magnifying. The quick release custom jaw has the magnets on the wrong place over the bolts so I hope to get modified ones that dont fall off. The buttons for moving the vise could be more distingt but OK. First level moves a little bit (Not possible to change in setup how far) Next level moves to stop which is OK, but if I want it to stop i press to the first level but when it moves fast i get a little stressed and press to second level so I want it to be changed so it stops even if I press to second level. The force can be adjusted between 0-100% I would be more happy to see Newton or at least in the manual be told how many N is 100%. It is a very good product that can be fine tuned.
