I am very impressed with the product, but cardboard leaves its mark on the tool pretty quickly. It is still doing its job as intended, recommended buy.

As someone who owns several HOTO tools, I expected great quality, but the HOTO EdgeFlow Electric Scissors truly exceeded my expectations. What stood out: Speed & Cutting Power: Absolutely impressive. It slices through thick, heavy-duty cardboard and fabrics effortlessly like butter. I broke down a massive 100-inch TV box completely in just about 15 minutes—a task that normally takes serious elbow grease and a lot of time with manual cutters. Safety First: The dual-switch safety mechanism and protective blade guard provide great peace of mind, keeping fingers safe during continuous and fast cuts. Built-in Self-Sharpening Mechanism: A brilliant feature. After around 45 minutes of heavy use, the blade needed a quick touch-up; sharpening took less than 15 seconds, and it was back to cutting at full performance right away without interrupting my workflow. Battery Life: Outstanding. After an hour of continuous use, the battery was still well above 50%. It also has a "Boost mode" built-in, though the standard power has been more than enough for everything I've tackled so far. Minor Note: I noticed that a couple of the plastic clips/guards around the blade area can detach occasionally during intense work. It hasn't affected overall performance, but I plan to check in with customer support regarding that part. Overall, I was so pleased with its performance that I already purchased a second unit for my sister to use for fabric and sewing projects. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with cardboard disposal, crafts, or fabric cutting!
