Shade No. 9 (The Foundation)

Love how skin like it feels and looks on my skin. A customer service rep helped me in choosing a shade and they nailed it. Ive never been able to find a true match to my skin but this just blends seamlessly. I used this with the skin tint to give me more of my skin but better look. There was no cakeiness which I’ve always struggled with too.

Great Shade Match

I am a light to medium neutral olive skin tone (at least that is how I look for when looking for foundation color). My skin tone has always been impossible to match. I'll go into shops and will be match with almost every brand and everything will either be too orange, too yellow, or too pink. It came to a point where I just gave up wearing concealer and foundation and walk our the door with a corrector for my undereyes. This foundation matches my skin perfectly. It is the first time where I can see that it blends into my neck. The coverage is buildable although it does creases using it as a concealer under my eyes. I have oily skin around my T zone with dry patches around the sides of my chin. The foundation starts separating around my nose after 5 hours of wear and it probably won't be too comfortable for those with dry skin as it started feeling tight around my dry patches at around the 3 hour mark. It does stay on and looked OK when I spray myself with a hydrating mist throughout the day (which I usually do in the winter). If only there is a liquid concealer in this exact same shade, I would purchase it in a heartbeat. I have large areas under the eyes that needed something higher coverage since layering this makes my eye creases.

Finally a true olive colored foundation that looks beautiful!

This is such a beautiful foundation! It is on the lighter coverage on me but it sets down after a few minutes and looks so perfecting...its magic somehow. You have to have a few minutes of patience to let it work it's setting and blurring magic! At first I thought this isn't enough coverage but once my makeup is completed I stand back and it looks somehow more coverage than initially expected! Thank you Lisa for creating these much needed olive tones! It is spot on and just melts into my skin color perfectly!!
