L98 96% Wireless Mechanical Keyboard

Cheap and Cheerful, very impressed with the quality

The quality of the keyboard is good and is a pleasure to type on. I bought it for mainly office work + the left numpad that was for both Mac + Windows with wireless function and it satisfied all my needs. The typing experience is lighter than I'd like but great, and the keyboard sounds amazing. Only gripe is that it doesn't come in black/dark colours. Would recommend to anyone!

Keys are way hard to find

When I saw a 150$ gaming keyboard I was kinda expecting it to have a lil' more texture to it but I keep pressing the wrong keys in the dark because the keys aren't backlit and there's no grooves or physical differentiation between the keys. There's only a line on F and J for standard typing hand placement, but like, my old keyboard had a groove on Esc so you could find it with just your finger. And I would expect for 150$ they could afford to put some texture on WASD since they advertise it as a gaming keyboard. Also the default two keys they put on the right are Page Down and Page up and that's a bit confusing, that's like the last two keys I'd expect anyone to use. They put Print Screen on the Alt-press but that's the one I'd have put on the normal press since that's way more useful. Luckily I can just change that but I still feel like it should have been the default one. Oh right last complaint is that I have a mixer and I can't change which output the keyboard controls because that's done in the windows settings and windows does not recognize the keyboard as a program I can set a default output for. Otherwise it's very good and I will only know if it was worth the 150 when it starts to fail.

Forward Thinking and High Quality

This is the best left numpad keyboard you can buy right now. RK already makes high quality keyboards and this fills a niche that just makes sense. With the mouse being a permanent fixture of a modern PC, it just makes sense to move the numpad to the left. If you can retrain yourself to use your left hand, you'll quickly fall in love with this keyboard. Oh, and it's relatively quiet for a mechanical keyboard making it great for an office space or those with sensitive hearing. My only complaint is that they don't have darker colors. I'm rather partial to monochrome and so I tend to pick more gamery style peripherals.
