Esterbrook x PEANUTS Snoopy Estie

The nibs on these pens are problematic, not just my own, as I have heard this from other fountain pen fans. My pen writes great after filling the converter for about half a 11×7 in page, then hard stops. The nib doesn't take up ink from the converter(same with the cartridge). So basically the pen performs like a dip pen. This is very disappointing. I contacted Esterbrook and the help I received was fast and kind but to have my NEW pen serviced I have to senditback on my own dime and I hav talked to very experienced pen peeps who have said that even if sent in, I will likely have the same results as the nibs are faulty out of the box. I am annoyed and frustrated.

It writes smooth, it feels great in your hand. A bit heavy for my small hands but feels good. And gorgeous.
