I purchased a Gorilla Grow Tent Pro 5' x 5' which already comes with a 1ft extension. I planned on setting it up in my garage to use for overwintering plants, seed starting, propagation, etc. My garage has 10ft ceilings. I decided to set it up using the main tent and the two 2ft extension. While I still have extra height available in the garage, the almost 9 feet of height in the tent was perfect. I am 6ft tall. It gave me plenty of height to have the tallest utility rack fit with lots of room to spare (even with things on the top shelf) as well as allowed me to put my hanging plants in and still have room above my head so I can walk around without any plants hitting my head. The build quality is exactly like the tent itself, fantastic. This thing is made for durability. Even though it will likely be stationary for its entire life, it is made to take as many cycles of assembly and disassembly you can throw at it. If you have any of Gorilla's Pro Grow Tents and are looking for a some extra height, this is your kit! I did not try assembling it with both the 1ft and 2ft extensions (just the 2ft), but I am sure assembly would be exactly the same. One additional note...I know they recommend keeping space around three walls when in operation so you can get the maximum use out of the tent. When assembling the unit, please try to have working space around all four walls which will aid in making that process as easy as possible. I had to build it in place against a corner and having those two walls tight against the garage wall made it very difficult to zip up as it requires a bit of effort to get the tent and extension together to start the zipper. It zippers around the outside with light flaps that cover the zipper (to prevent light leaks) which are difficult to zip if you are not zippering from the outside of the tent. Overall, I give this product an A+ for Cost, Quality and Usability. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
