I have never had a real fig prior to ordering & consuming from Heray Spice (via the Minocqua Marketplace). The texture, flavor, satiation effect and the most interesting manner in which figs are stacked on a rope-like skewer made eating each and every fig a true cultural as well as culinary experience. Of course, knowing that a share of the proceeds of each Heray Spice product are invested in the Afghani farmers who harvest and produce these delicious foods only add to the overall satisfaction of the experience.
