Surface is ok, feels like an Artisan Type 99 clone, but the base feels incredibly cheap. It’s also been weeks since I received this pad, and it still does not lay completely flat on my desk. My mouse will scrape on the raised areas, which makes it borderline unusable. I would not recommend this pad, and would strongly suggest you pick a pad that ships flat packed, or if it does ship rolled, make sure it has a standard rubber base, not poron or the neoprene that this pad has.

Came rolled up, which is a big downside—it takes forever to lay flat. The surface itself is okay, but the bottom slides around constantly and the material underneath feels cheap. Overall, wouldn’t recommend.
