Fabric Paint -- Blue

The lampshades were white and I wanted to make them a better match for the room, I think they have turned out perfectly and everyone I show them to think they look great and can’t believe I just painted them as they look new. The paint was easy to use and because they are pleated they did take a few coats but there was plenty of paint and there’s still lots left.

Easy to apply and coverage was as suggested in the guidelines. Once dried the coating rather easily rubbed off leaving threads showing the original colour. A second coat is a must to stop this happening. Unfortunately multiple coats do leave the fabric (cotton in this case) slightly stiff and rough to the touch. Overall a simple and excellent method of renewing and reviving furniture. I love the new look!

I bought this color to use on a beach bag. It was perfect. I'm so happy with the way it turned out. I left the bag at the beach house or I'd post a pic. Left the bag at the beach, BUT had some left over paint so decided to freshen up a faded lampshade from the screened porch. It isn't dry yet and will need a 2nd coat, but I can already tell it's gonna look great. I've posted the "before" and the "after."
