Low maintenance EDC

After using this Hexo for a week I find it a very easy to use. I usually don't post my fountain pens but I do with this one. The balance is great the nib is smooth. I don't feel like it needs pampering like my expensive pens do. It's no nonsense design and sturdiness make up for it's need to be posted - in my hands anyway. Throw it in a bag, clip it to you grocery list or just let it slip out of your hands and drop on the sidewalk and it's not going to break. (with the cap on of course) And it doesn't roll off the piano keyboard either. Good addition to my never ending pen collection and everyday jotters. BTW- you won't find better customer service than here with Blake.

Two weeks with the Faber-Castell Hexo

The Faber-Castell Hexo joins the ranks of entry level fountain pens like the Basics and the Loom. It is a very smooth writer, well made and comfortable to hold barrel. It is now my new daily writer attached to my daily journal. My only wish is that it would come with a #6 nib.
