My dad wore this growing up so this one is a bit near and dear. First of all it's loud. It feels like it shouts across the room and everyone will smell it. To me it's got a type of hide yo kids hide yo wife characteristic. The pineapple and smokiness is luxurious and delicious. This one definitely has that mens shower gel smell to it but it honestly just makes you smell like a fresh and clean man. Very nice but I did end up liking Sauvage alot more. Good job!

This product is top notch! As a beginner, I ruined my first batch of my attempt at making Aventus. The product definitely smells like the original Aventus I really liked it right after i mixed it. Smelled wonderful and lasted on a cloth towel. I ruined the batch by adding 1 gram of the Ambergris tincture 10%. I did 25 grams of compound black, 80 grams of the perfumer’s alcohol and 1 gram of ambergris. It flattened out the entire blend. My fault. I should have added .03-.05 g of the ambergris tincture. Ill let it sit for a month but something tells me it’s probably not going to be good. I can save it though. There is definitely a huge learning curve to perfumery! Know your materials, some of them a little goes a long way!

Compound homme

From the moment I sprayed Compound Homme by Fraterworks, I was immediately taken back to the first day I smelled this masterpiece. You can genuinely tell they used the absolute best ingredients; the blend is just incredible. I’m not sure if it’s the cocoa, the Omani frankincense, or the iris, but whatever they did, the mix is exquisite. Honestly, I still can’t bring myself to throw away the bottle they sent the compound in, because the aroma lingering inside it is just that addictive. A five out of five.
