Finally, true noise blocking headphones

I've tried them all. Name a brand, I own them. I mow with a zero turn and no headphones I've tried block the noise sufficiently to listen to music. Until now. These headphones actually block the mower noise and make it possible to listen to music. Only used them once, but I'm encouraged. Two issues I would note. First, putting the ear plugs in with the headphones on is a bit awkward. Second, the head strap on the headphones needs to be padded. Otherwise, I very satisfied so far!

Mixed feels

The speakers are crisp, the db reduction is legit....but immediately upon wearing at work I had to buy off of Amazon a cushion for the top band, it bit into my skull so hard I got a headache. And with having to wear safety glasses I can only make it 3 to 4 hrs before they have to come off. Which means no hearing protection and worse no music. Taking it as a lesson learned. I know all PPE is "uncomfortable " but i had high hopes.

Honestly, I'm happy with the headphones. They seem rugged and built to last. That being said they aren't the most comfortable. My hope was that I could wear the headphones while cutting and grinding metal, and only use the ear buds under my welding hood with the head phones around my neck. Unfortunately, the ear bud cord is just barely too short. Overall they serve their purpose, the long battery life is a plus, and the noise deadening is superb. When ordering watch out for the promotions, the 'add to order' button is large and the 'continue to checkout' is small so I accidentally added another pair of headphones and ear buds and had already purchased them all before I realized what had happened. I sent the extra stuff back to get a refund, and the return process was pretty easy.
