I bought this on a whim during a tough time in life as a way to invest in some self care. I didn’t do too much research on PEMF, but found the purple beautiful. I LOVE it! It’s one of the most used things in my home. I put it in my living room, and lay on it daily, often more than once a day. The heat setting is so cozy that I often fall asleep on it. I nap on it often, but also sleep 6-8 hours on it regularly. I don’t turn it up past 55. The 70 setting is very warm once the mat comes up to temp. 45-55 is perfect during the Midwest winter, 20-45 if you just want a tinge of warmth. I have a drafty old home, work night shifts, and struggle with falling and staying asleep. This mat puts me right to sleep all the time. It’s large, I’m 5’7” 250lb and I fit comfortably on it with my cat. It’s also got a really pleasant firmness from the rocks packed tightly inside. I leave it set up on a couch most of the time. Would recommend this to anyone who struggles with sleeping. I have a pillow and a faux fur blanket I keep on it. I’m always careful to turn it off once I get up. My cat uses it all day as a nap spot when it is turned off. I cover it with the faux fur blanket and keep the white cover on it so he doesn’t claw into the mat, there is a pad and blanket between him and it. I’ve had it 5-6 months and absolutely it’s been the best purchase of the year for me. Highly recommend. I can’t exactly quantify what the PEMF does. But this mat has become a relaxing and necessary part of my daily life. Enough so that I wanted to leave a review. I love this thing! I used a coupon code to buy it, and it is definitely earning its keep.
