​Overall it's an excellent track helmet, extremely lightweight, good fitment, very stable at high speed. The face shield is also great for my need of a dark enough shade as my eyes are very sensitive to light and on some other brands their "dark smoke" wasn't dark enough for my liking. I don't ride in the dark either. If I have any complaint at all, it's that after installing my Cardo comms system with the JBL speakers the depth of the speaker well could be 2 millimeters deeper. The part of the speaker closer facing the rear of the helmet isn't perfectly flush to the speaker well and it presses against the tip of my ear which after about an hour it feels a bit sensitive till I remove the helmet for a small break. Granted yes, I understand this is more of a track helmet which it will be used mostly as but if it's capable for using comms I was going to try to do it.

The NZ-Race carbon helmet is extremely light, comfortable, and has good fit and finish. I can’t wait to get out on track in it!
