Jane Badger has done such an excellent job in republishing these classics of the pony books. It’s a must-read for horse lovers young and old.

Nostalgia.

Growing up, Jill books featured quite a lot in my reading material. It was nice to go back to those days when life was lived at a slower and possibly, simpler pace. I missed the illustrations though, they were part of the books, but I understand it wasn't possible to reprint them, such a shame
