Holds Water Great, But the Raised Pattern Is a Cleaning Nightmare!

This mat definitely does what it claims, it holds an impressive amount of water and does a great job trapping moisture and dirt. I was excited about it because I have dogs and wanted something durable for high-traffic areas. Unfortunately, I did not realize how raised the boxwood leaf pattern would be. The texture is much rougher and deeper than I expected, and it makes cleaning much harder. My huskies’ hair gets caught and tangled throughout the raised design, and getting all the fur out is a frustrating chore. What should have been a helpful entryway mat has turned into something that takes a lot of extra effort to maintain. The quality of the mat itself seems good, and it performs well for trapping water, but I regret spending this much on a design that is so difficult to clean. If I were buying again, I would definitely choose a flat or low-profile pattern instead. The raised pattern looks nice, but for homes with heavy shedders, I would not recommend it!!!

I love the color and design. I bought it for in front of our slider door and it looks great.

Good rubber backing, doesn't slide around. Takes debris from shoes and dog paws. And by the time they reach the end of the run their paws are almost completely dry.
