These are an absolutely beautiful and well constructed pair of boots! I'm very happy with my purchase. This is my second pair of Parkhurst boots.

Love the 618 Last

The differentiators: value (as with all Parkhurst) and the 618 last. Parkhurst has, as usual, nailed the fundamentals here. Impeccable construction and finishing. That’s nothing new. What is new(er) is the 618 last. It’s perfect for my foot, which has this combination of characteristics that makes perfect fits challenging to find: (1) narrow heel (2) narrow waist (3) wide forefoot, even though I am technically a Brannock ~7. 75 D. Going wide enough for my forefoot typically means making the boot too long or too lose around the heel/waist. These are perfect, hugging the heel and waist and then widening out as the foot splays. I will absolutely be buying more of this last. Quickly becoming my favorite boots! Note that this boot puts the flesh side of the CF Stead Waxy Commander leather OUT and the suede side IN. So take what people say about this leather being less durable than Horween’s waxed flesh with some temper. For me, the break-in has been quite quick, even with the vegtan insole+midsole.

Excellent quality, last doesn’t work for me

I’m giving the boots 5 stars on quality, but unfortunately, this last just is not for me. I’ve tried 3 different sizes in the 618, and the low volume, pointy toe causes toe rub, while the tight heel causes heel blisters. Ordering 1 full size up from my normal size fixed the toe rub problem, but not the heel rub problem. If they fit your feet, they are great boots.
