GHS Pressurewound bass stings are awesome. I've tried them all: Pressurewound, Groundwound, Half-Round, and Semi-Flats. These GHS strings feel the most like flats of them all, yet retain just enough "zing" in the very upper midrange. Enough about the strings... I want to say that Jason is the man! I haven't gone through the "break-in period" yet, but so far, I love these strings. One bit of information... I have tried several companies ground-wound and half-round strings. GHS Pressurewound are the best, IMHO!
