Mike Pope Flex Core Bass Preamp

This preamp is awesome. It's easy to install and sounds incredible. Each of the 4 bands has 2 frequencies to choose from and they're very responsive. You can dial in just about any tone you desire. Last night I was installing a previously purchased preamp from another brand in a pj 5 string. Nothing will make you appreciate the flexcore screw terminals like trying to solder 5 wires to a tiny little blend pot in a cramped area.

I recently purchased a Fodera bass with a Trickfish preamp installed in it. I wasn’t getting what I needed out of the bass. So I purchased the Mike Pope Flexcore and installed it in my Fodera. The difference is like night and day! Thank you guys!

Very musical with excellent clarity.

The stock eq points are well chosen and my preference over the lower frequency settings. Some of the best implemented eq curves I've heard from any preamp. Low noise and excellent fidelity that sounds great through high quality outboard gear. Highly recommend.
