A perfect cold weather, stay in and snuggle up with a tea and some fuzzy slippers book! Each chapter had me highlighting and taking notes to learn more about each of the women spotlighted...many of these stories would make for a rich film or TV series.

Lovely book! Nice stories, just what I need at the end of the day.
And I love your store. This is the second book I bought from you!

I’m thoroughly enjoying this book. While travelling along the Irish coast the author looks for connections with long gone ancestors and other strong women, past and present. It could have been a dry factual account but instead is filled with warmth and evocative descriptions of the coast and the countryside and the women that she seeks out.
