I was totally unprepared for the huge amount of research the author provided. We, NZers, were totally in the dark concerning the level of negligence and buck passing involved right from the beginning. I was shocked by the lack of accountability and transparency by every single agency involved. It's to be hoped that this is a lesson sadly learned, however, because of greed, I doubt it. Excellent book, good presentation. Read it, absorb it. My heart goes out to families and friends who were all treated so badly right from the top - government.
