NEMA 10-30 Smart Splitter - EV/Dryer

What an excellent product! NeoCharge saw a niche product in the EV market and delivered. I have messed with the app and, so far, I haven't figured out how to turn off the annoying glowing blue LED light. Really, does every new electrical item need a glowing light? Or at least a way to switch it off? Also, the dryer to EV adapter plug could be a tad long. It's a super tight space behind the dryer and a slightly longer cord could make all the difference. In the attached photo, if the adapter was only a couple of inches longer I could slide dryer further back. On the plus side I did like the mounting bracket; that was a brilliant idea.

Effectively and safely splits the current. No expensive wall installation needed. Make sure you use the app to calibrate it once the charger is actively working, and make sure the amperage matches. I had to calibrate it a couple of times before it would only charge at 24 amps. Before that it was trying to charge at 32 amps in my circuit breaker was only 30 amps. Calibrating this thing is the key. It works perfectly now.

So far liking the product. Comes with the bracket so it doesn’t sag in the plug. 5 minute install and ready to go, really surprised with the output and I’m loving the availability to be able to track my usage of my dryer as well
