I was shocked at the price of this bundle, and so happy I bought it. I primarily purchased it as a feeder/weather guard for cylinders I leave in a high tree that can't be taken down quickly in bad weather, and also as a hopeful deterrent for Starlings. It works really well to keep the rain and the snow off from above (of course, the sides are still exposed if not sheltered by a tree), but not so great for keeping the Starlings off. Oh well. Birds of all sizes can easily land on this and peck from the top of the cylinder due to the clearance of the roof. I've seen Red-headed Woodpeckers, Bluejays, Cardinals, and Chickadees easily feed from this. A great buy and will extend the life of any cylinder.
