Sequoia: 1 Squirrels: 0
I have another feeder station with a squirrel baffle. The squirrels found a way to scramble from the baffle to the bottom rung of a tube feeder to the upper section of the pole. From there, it was easy for them to reach the platform feeder I intended for cardinals, juncos, and blue jays. I switched the standard top section for one with extended arms. The squirrels climbed to the baffle and *flung* themselves at the tube feeder. At first, they fell to the ground. But soon, they mastered their approach. It was business as usual for them. The Sequoia and its advanced baffle have changed the game. I filled a platform feeder with peanuts, black oiled sunflower seeds, dried fruits, and nuts — all our squirrels’ favorite snacks. The birds flock to that feeder. The squirrels cannot reach it. This was a fantastic investment. I’ll reserve my original pole for spring-loaded squirrel-resistant feeders. On the Sequoia, I’ll hang platform feeders and maybe even a smart feeder!

Squirrel Stopper Sequoia Bird Feeder Pole System
I love this bird feeder pole system. I bought my first system in 2024 and just bought a second one for finches. The system is sturdy and the squirrels can't figure out how to get over the baffle.
