Reproofing Wax for Cotton Duck

I've had my Duxback poncho for a few years and use it regularly. Water was starting to soak in and it was taking longer to dry. Re-waxing it has improved that. Rather than smear on with a cloth as advised next time I'll warm the wax until it is completely liquid and apply it with a brush. Heating with a hair dryer allows it to be fully absorbed. A week later it was taking the brunt of Welsh rain on a cycle tour. Carradice, I have pictures!

I bought this to reproof an old Carradice Nelson Longflap saddlebag. I had to use the complete tin to cover whole bag. The bag was used during a shower and the contents stayed dry.
