GHOST® HIGH PROTEIN HOT COCOA | WHITE CHOCOLATE PEPPERMINT BARK

I really love the Cinnabon protein powder so I was excited to add another yummy flavor to my protein arsenal. This is not my favorite, unfortunately. I think the marshmallows taste weird. I wish that they would have come in their own little package so I could put them in if I wanted to. I can pick them out though I suppose. I’ll need to experiment and see where I can incorporate this into my diet without wishing I hadn’t.

I really liked this! It's nice and minty and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it dissolved in hot water. Since it's white chocolate, I tossed a scoop of cocoa powder in to make it a little more hot chocolate-y and it mixed nicely with that as well. I took one star off because on its own, it does have a strong chemical sweetener aftertaste, but the cocoa powder cut that quite a bit as well. As this is my first full-size product from Ghost, I also want to mention that I appreciate the way they secured the scoop at the top so I didn't have to dig through all of the powder to retrieve it from the bottom of the tub.

I am sad to say this yet its true: the “marshmellows” are terrible. I intended to use this in smoothies and baking and the peppermint bark flavor is not as strong as I had hoped and as such, I am unable to avoid tasting the marshmellows. Today, I mixed it into greek yogurt as I do other protein powders before adding other ingredients into a smoothie and was really disappointed. I hope as I try it with other concoctions I’ll find I can enjoy it. Still three stars because the ingredients and macros are good! I’ll find a way to eat this.
