I have always loved this book since I was younger. I now have great nieces & great nephews. I ordered this book simply bc I always find a use for it. As it happens in life, sometimes there are magical coincidences. My niece & her husband & don Ackley recently lost their dear Silas. Silas had benign brain tumor but it was anything but benign. He was sick for several years with the side effects of this disease. Finally my niece Chelsea & her husband Casey were ready to make Silas comfort cares. He passed away in loving caring environment while being on comfort cares. His younger brother Ackley had always been present in his older brother’s life. My niece Chelsea & family are visiting from WY with family in omaha, NE. I decided that I had perfect present to give Ackley: I gave him this wonderful book of Greek Myths. I wrote in the book that Ackley has been through some tough times. But hopefully this beautiful book will give him some treasured memories also. God bless.

Wonderful book with backstories of the writer . I really enjoyed the illustrations and, of course, the myths themselves.
