This barbell is quite excellent with press, curls, twists, or rowing, 𝘦𝘵𝘤. It offers great resistance, and the bar is grippy enough underwater that it allows some great repetitive motions holding it more loosely without wrist or hand strain that would not be possible outside of the water without losing grip of the barbell and dropping it or hurting the wrists due to momentum. The length is also good and long enough even for a relatively tall person. If I could offer one constructive‑criticism though, I don't love the screws into the plastic as a fastening method to hook each resistance end onto the bar, though it seems solid so far and I feel like I could easily jury‑rig some hardware to fix those connections if it ever broke. However, I just wish there were a more solid seeming stainless bolt mechanism or a clevis, detent, or lynch pin with a ring or something through a solid rather than hollow section of plastic bar so it would feel more like a reusably disassemblible kit (not that I plan to take it apart often or ever, since I have the better dedicated bells, so will be keeping these on the barbell). Anyway, while it seems solid thus far, a simple screw into the plastic of the bar just seems slightly cheap to me, such that if I did plan to regularly transform it from dumbbells to barbell I’d be disappointed… Other than that and overall though, this item is great — and offers a very satisfying workout with excellent resistance! It really feels comparable to a light weight high reps barbell outside of the water! (but without the joint‑strain or sweatiness) Great for aerobics as well as strength.

I’m 71 years old and recovering from Shoulder Replacement surgery. As a former Masters swimmer I knew the importance of water rehab. With the Hydro-Revolution system I took my rehab up a notch and increased my range of motion, flexibility and strength in a matter of weeks. I recently saw my surgeon for my 6 month follow up and he was pleasantly impressed by my progress. As a former Triathlete the surgeon said swimming is By Far the BEST exercise for shoulder recovery. I enjoy my Hydro toys 4/5 days a week and enjoy seeing the results! I wish I would have found Hydro-Revolution sooner. Highly recommended to all PT patients!!

I think better exercise instructions would help. To many duplicates need roughly 10-12 , 15 exercises combining legs arms chest core. My experience is to listen to music and each exercise is done for the full length of the song. My goal is to do all exercise twice . The USMC training is the daily seven with a 3 mile run. A training guide like that would help.
