I tested the handle after putting it on per the instructions on the website. It is holding up fantastically! An old hatchet head that can be used for another generation.

I had the privilege of going thru a very old/dilapidated, blacksmith barn and scavenged a hatchet head, camp axe head, a single bit head, and a double bit head. They took a lot of work to re-profile but very satisfying. I'm so proud to put a proper handle in these historical tools so they can be use for generations to come. Thank you.
