crotch attack
The bike I purchased this item for, a Surly Crosscheck, didn't give the necessary clearance for mounting and dismounting without landing on the pack. Very uncomfortable. So I attached it to my rear rack. It works fine, although the see through phone compartment is not available in this position.

Handy bag
This bag is great! It works well on my step-through e-bike. I can’t use a handlebar bag because of al the cables and lights. This works better as i can see and access my phone if i need.
