It works.

Since I’m in AZ sometimes it’s chilly on hikes in the winter. This hat is far preferable to the usual mesh hats we wear in this part of the world. This hat breathes but doesn’t let your head freeze. Oh, blocks the sun too.

I am getting used to the hat. I like hats with bigger brims and sit deeper on your head. this hat has neither, so I am a little disappointed.
