Wonderful heavy weight blanket

This lovely blanket was made well and looks great. It is slightly oversized - which I appreciated because all the blankets these days seem too short to tuck in at the bottom of your bed and midway through the week you’re re-making the bed because it’s gotten un-tucked and messy. So the longer length was great. The weave is tight. However - there is no ”ribbon” around the edges so you need to be careful if you plan to actually tuck the blanket under the mattress so it doesn’t unravel. Also - and this was a big thing for me - the blanket is literally heavy in its own weight. It pins you down on the bed and flattens your ankles and feet. I would have liked a literally lighter weighing blanket - even if it meant that it didn’t provide the warmth that this one does.
